My experience at BET hair salon....

It was on Mother's Day weekend I was shopping in Richmond from Charlottesville , VA

While I've decided to find someone to do my hair. I just picked one off the list and drove to their shop it was my best experience ever. Very nice clean and friendly atmosphere. My natural is Beautiful and Easy to Tame.

Thank you Ms. Lenora for giving my hair the best care. I also took your advice about over washing my hair I'll see you in 6weeks

Horrible experience. I called four times before actually going into the salon and the woman who picked up the phone was completely rude every time she picked up,but I wanted to know how much to bring for the style I wanted. I still went to the salon anyway, upon arriving a nice women approached me but she only did perms/relaxers so I was sent to a hair braider. The hair braider was doing someones hair and sent me to another person. The person they called did not seem like she wanted to be in the shop, I explained to her what I wanted and she could not comprehend any of it because she wasn't really listening to a word I saying. She eventually picked out a picture and explained it was going to be 80 for the style which is what I was told over the phone. Then I was sent down stairs and they didn't have my hair color 1b after I asked over the phone if I should bring my own hair and she told me no.The women did not know the colors and kept suggesting hair colors that wasn't mine. I spent 17.10 on not so good hair. On the way back up, the girl forgot the picture she should be and told me I would have to $100 for medium. Then we get upstairs and she sends me to I guess the price women, since no one seemed to know prices in the store but her unpleasant self and she yells me to ask the person doing it. I was so confused and annoyed with the run around. Then the stylist says $140! they were trying to swindle me. F; for customer service and F; for pricing. and they are only open Tues..-Thursday.

The Best Hair Salon In The United States!

Great salon if you like to be treated like a SECOND RATE HUMAN BEING. I am not writing this review off of one experience, but THREE! Three different times I've been to this salon with three different stylists, and all three times were bad. The prices are acceptable, but the customer service is horrible. You're paying them to do your hair, and they treat you as if you're a pain in the u kno what and like they are doing YOU the favor.



1. They accept walk ins, but be prepared to wait at least two hours for the most simplest of hair styles.

2. Even if you make an appointment and show up early or on time (even at 9 a.m. when they open like I did!), they are probably STILL going to have someone in the chair before you and make you wait which is unfair.

3. CUSTOMER SERVICE is nonexistent! They push you over on stylists...you sit there with your eyes wide open while they argue on who is going to do your hair because no one wants to do it. Don't even think about getting a smile or a good morning from anybody in this hole.

4. Be prepared to have your ears assaulted with music that makes your ears bleed.

5. JUST DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
