Carolyn Miles is the owner & director of American Stardom Dance Academy. She has 30 years experience working with young children in dance. She also has experience working with students of diverse ages, special needs, and ability levels. She will be celebrating her 13th year in business at the same location. From 1994 through 2001 she has directed and owned American Stardom Talent Competition with much success, which she ran on the East Coast for 7 years until she opened her own studio. She studied dance in New York & Europe. She has studied and taught in Athens, Greece American Club. She studied under numerous teachers from New York City. She was honored recently with the teacher of the year award by the world renowned American Tap Dance Foundation in NYC. She has sent many of her students to different companies to continue their dance education such as ABT and other ballet companies. She has had numerous experience staging special types of production, such as benefits, recitals, and much more. She has always continued her study in master classes and workshops by Dance Olympus, Dance Educators of America, Dance Caravan, Tremaine, Dance Masters of America. She has achieved the highest degree of professionalism with staff, parents and students.
