This is one cleaning service in the Pottstown area I would strongly recommend. Each and every time I have been there with numerous items from shirts, coverlets, sweaters, pants, curtains, and so forth they are always done to perfection and ready for pickup the day we agree upon. I wouldn't take any of my items to another place and some of them have been extremely precious or irreplaceable. The Lee family are great people.

We've been a customer for 19 years and am very pleased with their service. The cleaning and pressing services are well done and on time. I take my shirts there every week. The shirts are always neatly pressed and hung. We've also used Family Cleaners for alternations and these were completed as expected.

Family cleaners has been established since 1980s. Our family have been loyal clients from the beginning! Julie and Jim are very professional in the dry cleaning services. We highly recommend Family Cleaners to everyone.

I heard good things about this place, so I decided to drive 40 minutes to come and get my bridesmaid dress altered for my best friends wedding. BIG mistake. I have now been here 3 times and my mother 2 times. Within the course of 3 weeks. The first time she fitted me and pinned the dress to take in the sides and shorten it. When I came back and expected to try it on and take it home with me, she took it in way more than it should have been. How could someone mess it up when it was pinned? No idea. When it was shortened, it wasn't even in a straight line. So I told her it needed to be fixed and taken out. She was very aggressive and said it looked good. It did not. It'll you consider your skin on your back buckling from the tightness, then sure it looked good. Then my mother came to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I came down a third time because I was very unhappy and frustrated. This time I tried it on and it was not very different from the last. However, the wedding is in another state and I leave tomorrow. The customer service I experienced was terrible. You do not yell, tell a customer they are wrong, or let them leave unhappy and almost in tears. Very unprofessional. Also, the prices are sky high. While I was there for the final time, a man came in to pick up his pants and gasped when he saw his bill. They also do not have air conditioning. This last day I went it was 92 degrees outside. For a "business" that is ridiculous. I was sweating while trying on the dress. I usually do not say anything or complain on social media, but my experience here has been horrid. I hope that anyone who thinks about bringing their items here to have cleaned or tailored think about this review and go to another place.
