If youre locked out of your home at 8pm in the evening, DO NOT call this guy! He gave me every reason under the sun as to why he couldnt and wouldnt come out. I think the most insulting excuse he made was when he stated that people usually end up getting into their homes themselves even before I arrive, and that pi$es me off. Well, not every customer is the same and I couldnt get into my home myself, period. But thank you for stereotyping me with your past customers! He also stated that he doesnt take credit cards. Guess what, I had the CASH to pay him! I dont rely on credit cards to survive, as apparently he thinks many people do. By the way, theres such a thing as sending someone a bill if that would be a customers only option of paying (meaning they didnt have cash on hand). I ended up calling a locksmith from Allentown and he drove 45 minutes to my home and got us in. Now that is a real 24/7 locksmith, and a locksmith with simple human compassion for people that are stuck in a bad situation.

Carter lock smith is absolutely trust worthy. I have had him do all kinds of work including 2 antique safes. The 1 needed restoration of the lock components. He fabricated the pieces needed & it is a smooth lock. I trust him with any and all work. Honest as the day is long.

My key broke off inside of my ignition switch away from home. Greg came out and had to disassemble the steering column to access what he needed. He extracted the key, which was my only copy, made a new working key and in the end charged me only $25!!! This was at least 15 years ago and I never go anywhere else and have never regretted anything! A true service professional.

As a local business owner I've brought the Carters lock problems of every type: automotive, antique cabinets and the latest was an old soda machine with a lost key. Their service is always friendly and professional. I can't say enough nice things about them.

Today I went out with my mother, locking myself, my fianc, and our eleven month old daughter out of our home. I don't know what we would've done without this man. He was quick to get to our house, and unlocked our front door in literally a minute. His price was extremely afforable, especially for new parents on a budget. Other locksmiths we called wanted $150 just to come out and see what they were going to be doing. His wife is friendly and both him and his wife were so easy to work with. We were in our house in minutes and it only cost $60. I was so pleasantly surprised when we were done and there was no change in the cost that was spoken about over the phone. I'm so glad we called. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! He's a life savor!

We stopped in to get a key for a lockbox, expecting to leave it for a few days, but she fixed it on the spot, and didn't charge much for doing so, either. I'm sure I'll be back.

Quick response and service. Gregory R Carter Locksmith is honest and local to PA unlike other companies who say they are. He's licensed with the state and what he told us it would cost to unlike my 09 Prius was the final price. He did not bend my doors or break my windows and got in to the car with in 60 seconds. He seemed like a good guy and if I need a locksmith again he is the only person I will call.

We just had Greg come out today and he did a fantastic job. He came when he said that he would, worked efficiently, and fixed our broken door latch. We are happy customers.
