I called KMP today to switch my service from a competitor. I explained I wanted to switch service from my current provider under my insurance policy. Without knowing my name, info, insurance, anything, she ASSumed I would not be covered and tried to end the conversation. Regardless of insurance, I need lifesaving equipment to survive. I asked what people do without insurance, she said they would have to purchase outright. I tried to express my needs patiently through her clear rejection. She didn't want to hear it, nor care what I had to say, was beyond rude in manner. Turns out, I am indeed covered for my current equipment, and more. I called LINCARE, and had a lovely talk with Athena who discovered in 3 questions I was eligible for equipment, AND medication needs also! LINCARE is able to go above in delivery, equipment, and care. I will recommend against Keene Medical. I am disgusted with this company's incapacity to serve our County's needs.
