Bill Hawkins designed my home in the late 1970's and we're still enjoying it today! It's very unique in that it has no interior paint or wallpaper. The walls are cedar the ceilings are pine and the beams are fir all stained with the same natural stain which allows each variety of wood it's own tint. The outside is done with straight grain plywood and 2 inch fir strips to imitate board and batten construction. The only modification since contruction has been extending some deck, installing a heat pump system, and replacing the shake roof with a metal roof that looks like shingles.
