Ms. Burkett might be running a business out of her home which provides piano lessons to students as she told and another individual I met in Oregon City confirmed that may be the case (He knows Irina (Irena) as a choir director and Russian language trainer.). I have no idea of her talent as a piano teacher, yet I do know her talent in unscrupulous behavior as she has taken, and is keeping, money from me that is not rightfully hers to keep. I paid for a half-months in good faith to reside in Ms. Burkett's home during October. I made payment and received a receipt for such in the evening of September 10,2018. In the early afternoon of September 13, 2018 I called to share I just learned of an emergent situation which required me to travel to Maryland at the close of the month, and that I would not need to reside in her home after all. I asked her to refund the monies paid and she has refused. She will only return to me half of the money paid. I have received no services from Ms. Burkett and the cost has been huge! It is my opinion that her character in this regard is her character in all regards. Make your own decision. Mine is secure.
