Over the last month I had Rick's replace a fence which had seen its last leg and I also had them add a pergola/cover to my deck. The craftsmanship was worth every penny! -Terri

I bought about 1,000 feet of three rail white pasture rail vinyl fencing for our property. We have several horses and a couple of cows. The fencing looks great, and the gates are bi-directional with a slam latch, very safe for horses. We looked at several other products and are vey happy with the decision we made to go with Ricks Custom Fencing. Dave came out and measured the footage; he did a nice drawing and gave suggestions on gate placement. Bruce and Joe installed the fence; I cant say enough nice things about them. Henry

In 1985 my husband decided to put up a new fence at our home in Cedar Mill. We bought the materials from Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking, and had them delivered. A truck load of posts, boards, rails, concrete and assorted hardware arrive. I have never forgotten how polite and courteous the delivery driver was. It was mid summer and hot. My husband offered to help unload but the delivery driver wouldn't let him. The polite young man stacked every board, post and rail in our driveway, neat and nice. After a glass of lemonade, he was on his way. We rented an auger from Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking (best deal in town). My husband and our two kids installed the fence in a couple of weekends. That was our first experience with Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking. Several years later, Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking designed a beautiful second story deck with cover. The deck had stairs to an octagon landing which was located in the garden area, and additional stairs from the landing to the patio. We were on a tight budget so we purchased the materials from Rick's Fencing and my husband and son finished the project in about four weekends. Not to long ago, we sold that house, down sizing and moving next to our daughter and grand children. We needed a new fence and guess who we called? You guessed it, Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking. Brian came out and measured everything up. He made some great suggestions, like a steel framed gate and locking latch. We bought the fence, very affordable when we compared it to other contractors. Joe and Ben removed the old fence and installed the new one. These were the nicest young men, very polite, and offered great suggestions. They were very fast, and did amazing work. The new fence was up in about a day and a half. I can't say enough good things about Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking and the quality of employees they have. We hired Rick's to tear out an old deck, build a new deck and build two fence/gates on wither side of our house. They were 100% perfect for what I was looking for. Asked all of the right questions, REALLY knew their stuff, the estimated amount WAS the final total, professionalism, ALWAYS called and did as they said they would, started the project on time and finished EARLY. We have a gorgeous deck and gate/fences and already feel like we are in a new home. LOVE the work and cannot recommend them more highly. I wish ALL contractors were as reliable, trustworthy and capable as Ricks.

Rick's built me a beautiful fence. The crew showed up on time and worked every day until it was done. I will be giving Rick's all of my fence and deck business from here on out!

I am very satisfied with the installation of a new fence on my property. My family and neighbors are impressed by the speed of the installation and the good looks of the finished project. It is a beautiful piece of good workmanship and surely to last a long time. All work was completed on time in a professional, well organized manner.

I can't tell you how astounded my husband and I were to have our deck so beautifully restored!We have lived in many states and in each have dealt with many builders, and/or renovators, and vendor. Some provided no service, some provided service only after we threatened action, some few saw their job not as building or renovating, but as providing a quality product and satisfying customers. Those companies built the best repuations and inspired customer loyalty. Rick's Custom Fencing and Decking is now a the top of that list for us!How that service is delivered is of course critical. Rick's Fencing is fortunate enough to have professional like Bruce out front in that process and to have hard working crews like the ones who worked here. I am grateful for their attention to every detail of the work. I know that this newly refurbished deck will be an asset to us over the long term. thay way over charged me on my deck i wish i wold have got sumwon else

I spent the weekend searching for fencing. I wanted to install it my self. I asked for advice from the person at the counter. I was told that I would need to have a pro do the job. I felt like I was purchasing a used car. I did not buy from Rick's Fencing . I did not stay around long enough to see the product because I was so put off by the hard sell tactics. They are the biggest fence company in Portland. I wish I could find out why?
