Provided by YP.comWe put money down on a cake for my daughter's wedding ($50). The owner did not even write up an invoice, just wrote on the backside of a already used paper. All I had for a receipt is my check. Then we ordered a cake for my sister-in-law's birthday. We go to pick it up and they could not even find the order. Again, it was just written down on a piece of used paper. Here we were in need of a cake within two hours. There were no apologies and my husband and to sit there and wait for them to quick bake a cake, cool it, fill it. and ice it. They put it in a box and when we opened the box at home, the cake was still warm and the cakes slide off each other and filling was everywhere. It was a mess! We did not even get a discount from Pieces of Cake. It is a lousy way to do business with customers and their accounting is horrible. The owner promised to refund our $50 for the wedding cake, as we cancelled it after the birthday mess. We never received it.
