I challenge your accusation that this Xterra was purchased from Phantom Motors LLC. If you refer to your purchase order, you will see this vehicle was purchased from Aldins Motors. Phantom Motors has been in business for more than 5 years and takes huge pride in their ratings and customer service to its customers. You were offered a service contract when you purchased the vehicle which you turned down. I would like to add that this Xterra is nearly 10 years old with approximately 130k miles on it. When you felt repairs were needed to this vehicle, I offered to you my mechanic upon good customer service to assess any possible repairs. This issue was stated 3 months after the Xterra was purchased and 3,000 miles were added to the mileage. When I offered for my mechanic to come take a look, you came at me in an assertive manner. After I offered help through my mechanic, you were continually assertive and threatening, which in turn you were referred to the AS-IS paperwork.

With so many accusations and allegations, I question your ethics, integrity, and honesty concerning your claim against my business as a real estate agent working for a reputable company, Keller Williams. On 10/17/17 I saw the Xterra you purchased (this is the vehicle you are making allegations against) listed under a Craigslist ad with a post id: 6347706959 dated 10/15/17 timed 5:56PM which was posted by you “Eric” with a phone number to call or text at 503-890-3764. This was posted two days before you came and made false allegations about the transmission. You stated on your ad that the Xterra’s condition is in excellent condition, “super clean”, “well maintained”, with an asking price of “$8750 or best offer, cash only”. If you were a true and honest real estate agent and if you were ethical why would you try to sell a car on Craigslist stating “super clean” and “well maintained” if your allegations were that this Xterra needed thousands of dollars of repairs.

In August during the heat, my mother in-law was having car troubles getting stuck in a parking lot for over an hour. After hearing this, my wife (Brandie), decided that she wanted to help her mom. Also, get a car that would be easier to put a car seat in, since we are expecting our first child in February. So my wife and I traded in our Lexus that way we could get two cars (One for my wife and one for my Mother in-law). We struck a deal with Phantom Motors on Division, we got a Prius for my mother in-law and a Xterra for my wife. All was good until I took my wife's car to get the oil changed 45 days after. I was told there was transmission fluid in the coolant... this is something I had seen before with previous car. Also, a problem I asked about before we purchased. The dealer said they replaced the radiator (which they did) so the problem was fixed. Well not so much. I immediately went back to Phantom and asked if they could help us out. They wanted their mechanic to look at it. Saying, that they would arrange for them to come to us. After many more calls and texts to find out then this was happening over two weeks they came over. I was told we just needed to flush the coolant system. Not trusting this was going to fix it. I called a transmission shop and a trusted Mechanic. I was told by both that this would only be a bandaid fix and the transmission would catastrophically fail in the near future. With this info I went again to the dealer and I was told tuff luck the car was sold "as-is" and "it's my problem". Little math for you. Traded Lexus got a 4k Prius and 10k Xterra. Now have to pay $5,000 to replace the transmission and it systems. All the deaerl can say is not my problem. I would have been happy if he would of covered half the repair cost, but nope just told TUFF LUCK...
Being a Portland native, this is not the kind of business I want in my community.
