Roma of Portland, a member of Roma Food Enterprises, specializes in the distribution of Italian and Italian American foodservice products and services to pizzerias and other food/specialty shops in the greater Portland, Ore., area. Its products include salad products, sandwich products, meats, ice cream, cheese, beverages, candy, pizza boxes, cups and lids and general supplies. Established in 1955, Roma Food Enterprises also operates distribution centers in Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and South Carolina, as well as its New Jersey flagship operation. In 2005, Roma Food Enterprises merged with Denver-based Vistar Corporation. Vistar distributes food to vending companies and independent pizza restaurants.
