OnPoint Community Credit Union is a nonprofit financial cooperative that was established in 1932. Each member is an equal owner of the credit union and has an equal vote to elect an unpaid board of directors. The board of directors sets overall strategy for the credit union, while management implements policies and manages credit union operations. The credit union is chartered by the state to serve the employees of schools and nonprofit educational organizations in the Oregon counties of Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington and Yamhill. Members may also include immediate family members, students, alumni, volunteers and retirees of organizations approved for membership. OnPoint Community Credit Union offers checking and savings accounts, online banking, investment services, auto and boat loans and home mortgage and equity loans. All OnPoint Community Credit Union account deposits are federally insured up to $100,000 under the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
