Montavilla has the best selection of sewing machines and the best service ever. They are also helpful and honest. I have been doing business there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Aletha and Jason at the Stark Street store are both exceptional and two of my favorite people to deal with. I really appreciate the fact that I can have a problem solved without anyone saying it was user error!

Have bought more than one machine from Montavilla, they have a great service program. Staff is knowledgable and helpful.

I called because I thought my machine had stopped working and was hoping for some information over the phone before bringing it in for a repair. The woman who answered the phone was extremely nice and gave me instructions on something to try to solve my problem, based on my description. It worked!

I took my 1950s Singer sewing machine for repair to the store on SE Stark Ave. They looked at it and fixed it on the spot - 5 minutes, no charge. They could have easily kept the machine and told me it needed an expensive repair - I wouldn't have known any better. Honest, expert, courteous. And free parking. Couldn't ask for more!
