Marion's Carpet & Flooring Warehouses started in 1965 as a furniture upholstery business on Southeast 52nd. Marion Skoro, the founder, had immigrated here from Croatia and ran the business with his wife, Mirela. One day, a man came in and dropped a chair off to be reupholstered. He became a friend of Marion's and brought in many pieces of furniture to be reupholstered over the course of a few years. This man was a representative of one of the largest carpet manufacturers in the world, and through this friendship, Marion began selling carpet and quit doing upholstery in 1976.

wow what a freaking joke

i will Never go back to Marions carpets for as long as i live. they took way longer then promised to get the carpet and set up my install. then the installer actually smoked inside of my newly remodeled home. not to mention the seams began to fall apart just 2 WEEKS AFTER THE INSTALL. when i called to complain they were less then helpful. i had to hire my own installer to come back and fix the seams that were falling apart. stay far away if you value hard earned money. hey carpet carl thanks for NOTHING!!!!
