I was maddened by the sales tactics used by this unethical company. We originally called them for a bid on repair to one water damaged window trim piece and new paint on the house. As soon as the salesman arrived he leads with "You have bigger issues than just paint here. I am an expert witness in construction defect cases all over Portland and you should sue your builder". He goes on to tell us our 7 year old home was constructed improperly and our windows and siding new complete replacement. Of course we were scared to death! Our 7 year old house was falling apart according to him! However, we did our research, called several other contractors, and then decided to call them back to find out what it would cost for the targeted repairs we thought we needed. The second time a different salesman came out. He starts in, verbatim, with what the first salesman said. To my ears, it was a script. Again he tells us our home was constructed wrong, the builder was a hack, and we need all new siding and windows, at the least. I had had it at this point and let the salesman know, in no uncertain terms, I was not happy with his high pressure sales tactics. He then goes on to tell me that if I do not have this work done, my house will essentially fall down around me! They are doing nothing but preying on a homeowners insecurity! A total scam! Sure if my house was 50 years old, lead in with a total re-do job, but don't tell me my 7 year old home is a piece of junk and if I don't do all they say I will be making a huge mistake. Total scam! I will never be recommending this company to anyone I know.

Lifetime Exteriors was professional, detailed, honest, and by far the best contractor for our exterior project. They replaced our EIFS siding with HardiePlank and Cultured Stone. From the project manager to the installation team, everything was fantastic. We will absolutely call them again for other remodeling projects. This is the BEST company!!

This company will tell you anything you want to hear to get your signature and your money. Behind the scenes its subcontractors that have to fight to get paid or might have to put a lien on your house to get paid.The rule is look clean and professional and appear to do the work properly, but cut any corner possible when the customer is not looking or not home to pocket huge profits. Even though they charge you double what you should be paying. Greedy owners with fat wallets, starving employees and subcontractors. Check them out on ripoffreport.com

From the first interaction with Jay, we knew we had a professional, experienced company that made us feel comfortable, and after meeting 2 other siding companies, we were convinced to go with Lifetime Exteriors. Not only were they in the middle of costs with their estimate but it was 10 times more thorough. They did a job walk before the start of anything with the operations manager, Bo, and the crew doing the work. Every time we had questions they were quick to respond and put our minds at ease.When the job was completed they did a final job walk to make sure we were satisfied with everything, and boy were we! Our new Hardi Plank siding and sliding door just looks amazing. We would recommend them to anyone looking to re-side their home.

I hired Lifetime Exteriors to replace our old 3tab roof along with replacing our 1950s cedar siding and our aluminum windows. After getting a few bids from some of the other companies and feeling turned off by high pressure salesman Lifetime Exteriors was refreshing to talk with and price was spot on our tight budget. Workmanship was fantastic from the vinyl windows, new Presidential roof to Hardyplank and paint, and they even finished ahead of schedule. We feel we got the best work, a great deal, wonderful service and will recommend them to all of our friends. Give them a chance! They sure made us happy!

My husband and I hired LIfetime Exteriors to replace our defective LP siding with James Hardi Plank cement siding for our 2 story home. After talking with a few other companies, I found Lifetime Exteriors to be extremely friendly, knowledgeable, professional and affordable. The quality exceeded our expectations. They offered details that no other company thought of offering us. This company obviously cares about attention to detail and are very up to date on the latest and greatest waterproofing systems. This was important to us since it rains constantly in Portland!! We would recommend them to everyone!! I'm sure that if you call them, you will have the same great experience we had.
