This credit union may be alright for their members, but if you are a dealer paying off someone's trade DO NOT trust these people to release the title to you. Even with a clear endorsement on the back of the check stating the credit union by accepting the check agrees to provide free and clear title to the dealer with the dealer's name and address along with the vehicle make, model, vin number and account number they handed the title over to the customer who showed up at the credit union. When I contacted them to ask when they would be releasing the title to my dealership they tried to tell me that the vehicle was paid off by a personal check and not a business check. I was then told they would "look into" whether or not they gave the title to the customer and get back to me. They did not ever return my call. If you are a dealer paying off a customer's trade have a representative go into the branch with a cashiers check and get the title or you may never see it.
