Golden Harvesters provides up to 50 lbs of food 2x a week in exchange for just $20 and 2 hours of volunteer work per month. The food is predominantly donated by Portland businesses, with some select items purchased at very low cost from the Oregon Food Bank. Established in 1988, this cooperative is run completely by volunteers and has been helping low income residents of Portland for 25 years.
