In October of 2006, I had an initial consultation on my IRS tax audit at this office. Fortunately or unfortunately, the service was not needed after the initial consultation because my IRS audit was closed without needing any service from him. I was disappointed that I was billed a fee of $550 for no substantial service performed on his part and something that was not disclosed clearly at the time.



I called his office to speak to him once but during the call Gary said he had to hang up to take a long distance call and that he will give me a call back but I never received a return call from him and I followed up with a letter to request the invoice discharged. However, I didn't receive any return call from him and I continued to receive a new bill every month with new finance charge added to the bill.



We ended up going to a small claims court to dispute this. He wanted a full payment on an invoice totaling over a thousand dollars (with the late fees and interests he imposed on the no service bill) at the mediation. I ended up agreeing to write him a check for $250 at the mediation. At hind sight, I should just go into the court with him and dispute this in front of the judge.



Stay away from this office or make sure you get a price disclosure in writing before consulting him to avoid being ripped off.
