Owned and operated by women, the Downtown Women's Center has been providing safe and affordable family planning services in Portland, Oregon since 1976. Specializing in abortion services, our providers are among the best and most experienced in the field. Our entire staff is dedicated to a woman's right to control her own reproductive health. We recognize the need for privacy and emotional support and are committed to providing this for each and every one of our patients, who are always seen individually, never in a group setting. We accept all women who walk through our doors, and we understand the myriad reasons why they are here. Our patients have ample time to express their concerns and to ask questions in a confidential manner. Our Doctors: * are respectful and caring. We have both female and male doctors, with an average of fifteen years experience in providing abortion services. A patient meets with her doctor prior to her procedure so that she may ask questions and have her concerns addressed.
