Founded in 1996, da Vinci Arts Middle School offers an arts-infused academic curriculum to more than 450 students in grades six through eight. Its syllabus includes visual arts, English, mathematics, science and music. The school provides academic programs in foreign languages, such as Spanish and French. It also maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals. The school organizes a range of athletic activities that includes basketball and volleyball. It provides classes in jazz ensemble and string chamber orchestra.
