I brought my pet there for grooming I was greeted by an older gentleman that was very nice he went to the back to get the groomer for me to explain how I wanted my dog groomed this time and she was vey rude. She also smelled of alcohol. There was another older lady grooming she looked horrified at the was she was talking to me. This wasn't the first time she look like she was still drunk. I almost asked for my dog back when I noticed she handed her to the other lady. I pick-up my dog she was groomed better than she had been in the past. I think it's time that the owners think about getting rid of her. I won't leave my pet with her ever again, unless the other lady is there. P

I have never in my enire life ...

I have never in my enire life been so disappointed, insulted and in disbelief with such a unprofessional & BAD "BUSINESS!" This is not a business or establishment you want to take your furry loved one too...Trust me! The owners were all very rude, not polite, have no concept of customer service or respect but I will say the only employee there that didnt talk badly or treat my Shih Tzu BADLY was a older gentleman that worked the front desk. The service was worse than Ive ever seen anywhere, the owner's friend verbally assaulted me when I came to pick my Piper up, asking me, "What the f*** I was staring at" when I was sitting waiting for them to take him out of a 1x1' cage they locked him in unattended and than proceeded to call me a "B**** and C***" when I asked her if she was seriously talking to me?" I could not believe what I was being treated like, they literally rushed me out the door, AFTER I paid, my puppy was traumatized, literally is still sitting in the corner of room not responding to a treat Im trying to offer him. I am filing a complaint with BBB and police report, the woman followed me out telling me to go "F*** myself!" Completely in shock right now, scared my puppy was abused they complained about him drooling the whole time and I have NEVER had such complaint anywhere...EVER of this AND why would you continue to attack my dog and myself...AFTER I paid and than the woman owner stands there the entire time while her friend is on some drug high or something going off on me, seriously a nightmare CUSTOMER BEWARE, and I am a very easy to please person but am so offended and disgusted with this slum hole that I WILL be persuing further steps to make sure noone else has to go through with what I just had to endure! DO NOT take your pet here, please understand this place is a front...and his haircut is AWFUL!!

I trust them with my cats

It is a small shop and quite noisy, but the people are great. My queen kitty can be quite difficult to work with, as she does NOT like to be brushed, washed, or even have her nails trimmed. At Cat N Doggie Dos they do it all, and they take good care of her while doing it. I also bring in my other cats for occasional wash ups or trims.

dishonest. unethical, shouldnt even be in business

please do yourself a favor and do not take your dog/cat to this grooming place.. i took my small little yorkie to get him groomed..usually when i take him there it only takes about an hour or so. but for some reason this time when i did take him there... it took 3 hours.. they finally called me in to pick him up...so i came and picked him up..and i paid for it and gave them a tip. he was all happy and wagging his tail like nothing..because he is such a sweet little pup. we got into the car.. as i was driving for just 10 minutes..i noticed something strange on his ear. GLUE..yeah..GLUE..then all of the sudden spurts of blood starting coming out of my baby's ear!!! all over my clothes...and my car fabric. it was AWFUL. i drove back to this damn place..ANGRY.. angry at the fact that they did not NOTIFY me right away that my dogs ear had been cut. they took my money and let me walk out of that place without saying a word..they had the nerve to take my tip too. it was very very dishonest..and unprofessional. although of course they did offer to drive him to the vet.. because THEY KNEW THEY WERE WRONG ABOUT IT. THEY are still wrong for not LETTING ME KNOW when i picked him up..and they were wrong again for not calling me right away..and instead gluing his ear..and pouring peroxide on his ear for hmm i dont know two hours? thanks cat - n doggie dos..my dogs ear is deformed because of you. it was not just a cut either.. they took a chunk of tissue off my dogs ear..and he has a scar from it. YOU ALSO had the nerve to reply to my post on portland city search calling it a scratch..and also had the nerve to say that my dog shook his ear?? and thats why you cut him? regardless..cut, scratch whatever the hell you want to call it. It was very unprofessional and you guys do not deserve to be in business hands down.
