Similar experience, but worse. Taken here by out-of-state parents (in town to celebrate my birthday). They were not satisfied with my car situation, so we made a surprise stop at this dealership on a Sat evening. Saw the one I preferred the most (wasn't making a decision w/o the husband). Did some homework online about the specific model/yr, then returned the next day to test drive. Bought it Sunday, didn't get more than 10 miles when check engine light came on. Kept hoping it was only an EGR valve, but cleaning/replacing did not fix the light. Since we couldn't get it through DEQ, dealership gave us a fresh trip permit. Then the transmission went. Estimates were $3500 & $2300. It is finally (3+ mnths later) at the mechanic's getting trans rebuilt, and the $2300 was too low. Via phone and in-person, dealership says "sold as-is, nothing we can do" other than offering to have their mechanic give us an estimate. Like I would trust the opinion of the guy who looked it over the 1st time!!

It is my belief that this dealership will reset the check engine lights before selling a car without fixing the problem and passing the problem on to the buyer. I recommend avoiding this dealership.
