Terrible owners. They are ridiculously mean! Vicious even. I live down the street and had been going in for almost a nightly basis just for snacks, cat food... etc. I go in one day, and it's just the woman owner (Usually there's a man there too). I was picking out a soda... All of a sudden she is directly behind me. She asked if I needed assistance, I politely declined. She got closer and just stood there. I put the soda back and just went to checkout what I had already picked out. She followed me directly. Once at the register I asked her to make change for me with my purchase. She threw the dollar back at me and told me I took too long choose a soda! I let her know that I wouldn't be back. I had been a regular customer for a few weeks as I had just moved to the area. She treated me with disrespect and hostility. This was actually the first time we had spoken..

So I park in the parking lot, lock the doors of my car, walk in and then walk out. I get to the car and my car keys don't work for the life of me and I am panicking because I try opening the driver's door, the passenger door, and the trunk. The keys are not working.



I go into the store and ask to use the phone. The lady says no and points to the phone booth. I need change. The man says no. I walk next door to the cleaners and they give me change. I go to the phone booth, put in my 50 cents and call home. My dad answers and I yell at the phone but he can't hear me and hangs up. I walk to the apartments next door and ask if I can use their landline phone. They let me and I gratefully am thankful and make the necessary calls. This whole process took 2 hours.



My issue is when my uncle picked me up, I went inside again to deal with the owners, they were borderline rude. I went inside to tell them I was going to be back with my mother with another set of keyes and they were very hostile, no sympathy at all, really mean. It's just going to sit there for a couple hours and they were complaining why? It's a vast parking lot with people coming in and out for 5 minutes at a time. It was so ridiculous how they reacted. It's not like I came in acting lewd or begging for change.



My experience with this place was they are fake phony people and I hope karma teaches them a lesson. They made me more angry and stressed out when it is not a big stress to them.
