It's nothing personal with laywers. They are there to do a ton of leg work and handle the details of law and be great linguists.



Nothing personal until the condesending, snarky remarks begin within minutes on the phone or in person. I'm an intellegent and respectable person, but for some reason Susana and her assistant just can't see me that way. ( not to mention her yelling at me on different occasions- when I'd tell her she wasn't doing what I asked her to)



Unfortunately, I worked with her for year. In that time, she made executive decisions that not only hurt my feelings but my case. The things I have asked her to ie, supponea phone records to investigate a death threat, took her 8 months!! I've asked that she forget them now since its too late and now she says they are important part of the case and need to be filed and are willing to do more leg work to get them.



There are numerous times I told her my position about my case. I'm very strong with how I feel about my case and senstive about it. She has told me several times that wanting certain conditions in the case 'just won't work'... that its not "standard". In a senario where its up to me and the petitioner to have an agreement; we can agree to what works for us! Not what people "normally" do. She gave a me a ton of bad attitude.



Worst part of all: I asked her every month (about every 2 weeks) from December 15th 2010 to October 2011 - to enforce child support payment because I wasn't getting payments regularly and I got only 1/3 of the Oregon Standard when they did happen. SHE decided that because I was getting "something" that she didn't see why she needed to push it. But I heard that after all year she told me that she will file the paper work soon and "get right on it!"



I truly hope you don't hire this lady. Granted, she was a thousand times better than the respondents attorney, her professionalism is lacking. And I think she suffers from the 'Youth of Today' syndrom. I'm 26, not 16!



Anyway. If you do decide to trust her with your money and your case, I wish you the best!!!



(And her assistant: aside from snarky; is a complete idiot! She released confidential information to the respondent directly that put me in direct danger. The file was clearly marked! Then Susana didn't even fire her or anything. I got an "I'm sorry". You'll have to move again - but I'll help with some of the costs. What an moron!)
