Sending a sympathy bouquet that had personal "add-ons" that would mean so much to my friend was not easy. Many florists have a set selection from which to choose and don't take personal requests, which is a shame. The people at Petals, were, were very understanding and accommodating. That they are willing to buy a deck of cards for me and include a "perfect hand" (inside joke from happier times) was wonderful! Thanks, Petals, for not falling into the ranks of Teleflora and FTD.

When the Pike Place Florist we counted on completely "dropped the ball" two weeks before our daughter's Port Townsend wedding, I was sure there wouldn't be enough time to set another florist in place, especially with a February 17 wedding, just three days after Valentine's Day. In a panic, I checked online for local florists, sure none would take us on. I called Petals early Saturday morning and emailed some photos of bouquets our daughter liked.Denise at Petals, called me back that day and assured me she would be able to give us exactly what we wanted. And she did.The ten bouquets, nine boutineers and bulk flowers for decorating were gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the flowers, several guests saying they were the most beautiful they'd ever seen. I don't think I could write a good enough review for Denise and her crew at Petals, my only regret is not calling Petals first.
