Low end cafeteria style food - that's Golden Corral.

Three kids and Dad for a quick lunch at Golden Corral in Port St. Lucie. It was their idea - not mine. Two kids buffet (4-8 years) at $5.99, one kids buffet (9-12 years) at $6.49, and an adult meal at $8.79. Total for lunch - $29.04, including tax.

Kids dined on a variety of items while I dined on the meatloaf, beef stew, soup, hush puppies, and okra. A huge selection of food, but it was below average and barely warm. Serving line was dirty and not well kept.

Bathrooms were dirty as well. All three of my kids told me they would "hold it" until we got home. When I went to check the men's room myself, I agreed. Dirty and in need of an immediate cleaning.

Table service was okay - our server did a pretty god job of picking up plates and refreshing drinks. Hence, a second star as I debated leaving one. This place just doesn't deserve a better rating.

I'm not sure what possessed me into allowing the kids to suggest Golden Corral, but I won't make that mistake again.
