The Pawn Shop it is in...

I am writing this review and posting it on the vapor lounge, because I am unable to write a review on the ABC pawnshop that the lounge is located inside of. First of all, I have over 20 years experience with coins. Today I brought a couple of PROOF coins in only to have the owner tell me they were not proofs. !!!? according to him, once you take a coin out of its original package or holder, it is then no longer a proof. Amazed at his level of ignorance I tried to correct him by stating "once a proof, always a proof" and anyone with any experience in coinage would agree with me. When I attempted to explain the difference in proofs as opposed to business strikes, he laughed at me, wouldn't hear me out, then refused to do business with me. I attempted to show him a wiki article, a PCGS article, and a NGC article that explains the difference and he wanted none of it. Now, for a place that buys coins and advertises itself as "committed to providing great customer service" you would think he would A. Know what he's buying by educating himself on the subject and B. At least PRETEND that a customer might just know what he's talking about. But instead, he was extremely rude, laughed at me, then just flat refused to deal with me simply because I disagreed with him. A simple google search for "what is a proof coin" would prove I'm right, but hey, he's the boss, it's his store right? I tell you, I will never bring another thing to that place because of the stunning ignorance of the pawn broker. The vapor lounge guy however, he's cool. Although, he did seem to agree with the shop owner. He actually said.."once it's been opened, it would only grade "proof-like" which it totally wrong as well. No proof would ever grade proof-like, only a shiny business strike would. I have coins that I have sent to PCGS in a PAPER FLIP that graded PF-62 (proof 62) which was obviously opened, obviously tarnished, and obviously touched. I suggest they both do a little research before opening their mouths.-that guy that tried, but failed to educate you. DO SOME RESEARCH!

The location in Kent looks like a front for something else, but I don't think the guy that stands there and blows his vaporized nicotine iin your face. My equipment sucked. Batteries took 3 hours to charge and allowed 8 hits from an herbal vaporizer. But you can bet there's no chance of exchange or refund, unless I spend another $50 to buy a BETTER one, which I interpreted as 'crappier' There's another place right across the street by the dollar store. I'd try that for at least some kind of warranty.

Poorest customer service I have ever received. I may be new to vaporizers since I've only been using for about a year, however I know marketing and customer service. If you're going to claim to have better quality products and healthier e-juices, do so without being a self righteous jerk. My friend and I walked in excited and open minded and left without purchasing anything due to rude behavior and being treated like ignorant children. I'll keep buying from my local smoke shop where I know what I'm getting and being treated well.

I understand how Capafrappa can see it that way I think some things need clarifying. In Bremerton right now there is a vicious price war going on. One guy lowers their prices $2 so the other shop finds a less well made cheaper version and drops their price by $5. So the other shop scrapes deeper into the bottom of the barrel and find an ever lower quality version and drops the price $10. Now it is so bad there are no shops in that area carrying anything of a decent quality. Vape and Smoke doesn't take returns on most of their items because most is so low quality they would go out of business if they did. Rich's Vapor Lounge has a 30 day warranty and carries only the highest quality batteries and tanks. A battery that sells for $40 at Rich's will have a $20 counterpart in bremerton that looks exactly the same but has nothing in common when broken open. They are making more profit on the $20 one than Rich's is making on the $40 item. The difference is Rich's batteries are rated for 900 recharges and the junky ones can crap out in a week or two even if they are rated for 300 charges.
