Horrible doctor. My son was hospitalized three times under Dr. Lowenheim's care due to Clostridium Difficile twice along with Crohn's/Colitis. He never wanted to answer my questions or explain any medical problems and was just flat out rude to me and my son. My son got c diff twice under Dr. Lowenheim's care because he never put him on the antibiotic long enough. He was sick for a long time because he tried Remicade, but he developed antibodies to it because Dr. Lowenheim never prescribed him anything to prevent antibody development, along with double his normal dose basically poisoning and almost killing my son. I asked him about a blood test for antibodies, or why Remicade stopped working on my son, but he said it was a "waste of time." As a result, my son got very sick under Dr. Lowenheim's care and I certainly do not recommended him to any parent with children experiencing digestive issues looking for a pediatric gastroenterologist.

I am currently in search of a new doctor for my daughter as I cannot imagine leaving my daughter in his care for another second. Please save yourself the trouble and do not bother to contact Dr.Lowenheim if you are looking for compassionate and reliable care, because he certainly does not provide it.

We were poorly treated by his office staff and Dr. Mark Lowenheim DIRECTLY. he yelled at my wife over the phone and we will NEVER go back to this office and we will do everything in our power to spread the word about our poor treatment.
