I don't go to bars very often but this one is near where I live and I have enjoyed it very much when I go every so often with a friend or two. It's decorated to the hilt in nautical junk and treasures, has a good number of television screens for sports shows, has a juke box when there's no band playing, has a good number of tables and booths in addition to the large circular bar, and friendly bartenders and wait staff. It has very good Irish food and a large choice of other entrees so that there's something for eveyone (in addition to large portions and great prices), NO SMOKING (yeah!!!), and excellent live music most nights (typically music appreciated by baby boomers..60s, 70s, 80s). It's colorful and draws an eclectic crowd of golfers, tourists, boat captains, business people and locals...average ages 40-70. The place is cheerful and friendly, with an easy crowd...at least during the week (Sunday through Thursday). I only go during the week, because CAUTION: on Friday and Saturday nights it seems to become very loud and rough with some of the more undesirable locals taking away the appeal of the place. Stick to the weeknights, and the place is the perfect "cheers" bar.

Thank you Briny's, For hosting the hottest "Stones " tribute band I have ever seen. Its nice to see young talented musicians playing classic rock music.

Loved the atmosphere, the food was delicious and the price was nice !

Great place for fish & Chips

despite doing a decent amount of business this place is full of roaches and rats on ocassion,its just another festering abcess on pompano beach
