They have a great variety of fishing supplies and is run by very nice people with that never seem to deny your questions. Great live bait and good supply of live worms. Glad their is a place like this in my area!

Fishing is great and so is the bait and tackle shop. The man that is usually there is nice and they have a lot of good supplies. I don't know why idiots like the one star guy think they can walk in and demand for the employee to reset his line. FISHING IS GREAT!

It's has a good stock of fishing supplies and sells live bait also. And the people at the counter are nice.

I just started ice fishing, and friend who lives near Big Creek said the Polk City Bait and Tackle shop was a good place to go for help and supplies. On 1/12/08, Saturday, at around 1:45PM, for the very first time, I stopped by the Polk City Bait shop. An older gentleman was working, I'm 53, he seemed older then me. He didn't look very happy from the start when I first saw him. I greeted him, told him my line was too heavy, showed it to him, and he said, yep. I said I would like to buy 4 lbs. test, and would he put it on for me? (My buddy said that they do that on the Bait Shop). He said; I don't take off old line. So I went over to the front door and on my cell phone, I called my a buddy, and he said ask him if I took off the old line, would he put on the new? So I went back to talk with him, a man was ahead of me, and said to the man behind the counter, help this guy first. Without even looking at me, he said, I'm not going screw with old line. So I left. I wont be back.
