Went to get a prom dress, and they messed up my alterations. I dont reccommend getting anything done by them

We went on a Saturday afternoon...BAD IDEA. They schedule 3 customers to a consultant, it's awful. They girl I had was very nice and helpful but I spent alot of time standing around waiting for her to get back to me. They shove everyone on one side of the store so there is 4 consultants with 12 brides and their bridemaids/ mothers/ and everyones entourage. I ordered my dress and they said they would email me when it came in they told me it would be around 3 months till it came in. I never got an email and after 4 montsh without anything I called, it had come in 1 week after I ordered it. Noone thought that after a few months maybe they should call the bride if no communication was made. Good thing my dress is great, you just don't get the personal service you hoped you would.

I had a great time in the store. Not only is there a large selection, I found that the service was quite contrary to the other reviews. Dana provided wonderful service to me and my sister while we were there. She showed a geniune interest in my wedding details and gave us plenty of options to think about. There was no pressure and she seemed to only have our best interest in mind with her service. And, she was helping other customers at the same time. I visited another boutique type store earlier in the day. For that, I had an appointment for which the lady was 20 minutes late for. Although the service was good when she got there, I found I had alot more fun with Dana at David's Bridal. I think that it's possible to have a bad experience everywhere, but this store should not be based on the other reviews that almost discouraged me from going.
