This place has got to be one of the worst POs in the country. We mailed a package from NY to a customer in Plantation Fla. The package was supposedly out for delivery on Oct. 14. Never delivered. The PO website says package delayed on Oct. 15 and has never been updated since. Called PO and actually got someone twice. They told me that they would get back to me the next day. That never happened. Have repeatedly tried to call the PO back, but the phone is never answered. Beginning to believe the letter carrier probably took the package which had signature confirmation on it. When I actually spoke to someone about the fact that the package is in limbo and that it did have signature confirmation, they told me -- Oh, that is a problem. Asked customer to go to PO in person, since he is local. He replied that they are a waste and that going in person would be a waste of his time. No kidding. Should probably close this PO. This situation has now been elevated by us. There is now a case # on this with an investigation in progress. Maybe other customers unhappy with this PO should do the same. We feel sorry for people that actually live in this area and have to rely on this PO on a daily basis. Sorry we had to give even 1 star.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2016, I had a delivery notice that the carrier left. I filled it out and returned it to my mailbox. However, two days later it was still there so I put it in the outgoing mail slot and waited until the following Monday. It was on that day that I went on-line to submit a re-delivery notice after many attempts to call the post office (the phone goes unanswered). The following Friday, July 15th (9 days after the attempted delivery), I leave work in NMB and head over to the Plantation post office with my copy of the on-line re-delivery notice and the male attendant refers me to a supervisor. I explained to the supervisor all the events that led up to me being there. She locates my package. I inquire why my package was not re-delivered and she said she would look into the matter. I mentioned if she was aware of the many negative reviews on-line about this specific post office and she said that was the reason she had been brought in from another state.

Absolute nightmare to deal with these inbred folk. Like I said before, we should just put the USPS out of its misery along with the people that work there. They're a bunch of alcoholic pieces of sh*t who can't even deliver the mail correctly. Let UPS and Fed-Ex do the job right!

Horrible staff, they do not care about their jobs, appearance, they don't help anyone. The place is a nightmare. I wish I didn't have to use this one. Place should be shut down and they should hire people who actually need a job. I'm embarrassed that my tax dollars go to these people. I know plenty of unemployed people that would love to have their jobs.

This place is the worst. They refuse to answer the phone and if you do go the office, the customer service is just plain disgusting. No surprise that there are so many problems with the post office around the nation.

Signed and returned slip by hand for redelivery on 8/12, nothing -no certified letter- no tracking number because carrier took it on 8/12, Again no certified letter on 8/13. PLANTATION POST OFFICE READ YOUR MAIL or at least ANSWER YOUR PHONES!!!No wonder people e-mail. You want to survive? BE AVAILABLE TO YOU CUSTOMERS!!! YOUR FIELD PERSONNEL AND 800# PERSONNEL ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOBS. I am unable to leave my home at this time, or I'd wait on you overwhelming line to get it. So Sad... The lady in front of me almost passed out as she was recovering from surgery. Her leg had a knee brace and she almost fell twice.

The sad part is that there was a seperate line for Parcel pickup so I got in it. The lady attending never said that she would need time and disappeared to the back for 20 minutes.

My IPhone has a tracker and I can just imagine how long it took me to get one little package.

This can not happen every month. I am contacting the company that sends these packages to see if I can get delivery from an alternate route.

I dropped off mail there the other day that I had already packaged and attached postage to. The MISERABLE old lady working at the counter scanned my package, weighed it, and then THREW it onto a giant pile of other items (which I'm sure she threw as well). I understand they're not going to handle our packages like each one is a $100,000 diamond ring, but to throw someones items around in front of them--completely disrespectful. I WILL NOT use this post office again.
