Two of my closest girlfriends and myself needed help planning our trip to Europe, so we were referred to Legacy Travel by a friend. We thought Legacy Travel would "be a travel agent" and actually plan our trip. We had problem after problem once the planning was started. Cards charged multiple times without notice. Tours cancelled without notice, but this was only the beginning. Our hotel changed 1 week before leaving without notification.

Once we arrived to Paris, there was no one to pick us up at the airport after purchasing a private transfer. Nothing was even scheduled. This was only one transportation example gone bad out of multiple others. We had no transfer when we left Amsterdam to fly home after Kathy the owner said there would be no issues!!! This made us literally RUN through the airport so that we wouldn't miss our flight. Katie our actual agent neglected to inform us of various details regarding Museum Pass pickups, when they could of been shipped to us prior to our trip to save time and money once we arrived.

If you are looking for a travel agency that has an attention to detail, this is not the place! Still on our trip, various other problems happened and we called internationally back to Legacy to speak with the owner Kathy, but only to find out that she was emotional-less to our situation while on our "stress free vacation".

Lack of communication, lack of attention to detail, and follow through by Legacy travel caused us to lose valuable time during our trip. We also encountered situations that caused undue stress that could have been avoided.

You ask how they handled our complaint??? THEY DID NOTHING! Not even with a simple apology. DO NOT USE THEM, once they are paid from their vendors, you are nothing.

Our group of 52 friends and family members made travel plans to Mexico through Legacy travel.

For $50K plus worth of business, you would expect good service but not even close. We were treated like they don’t need our business next year. Our whole trip was arranged by Leigh Ann and we were issued travel docs. A few days later, we were notified that our return flight has been cancelled and changed from 1:00 PM to 7:00am which was a total lie and they wanted to make more money. Eventually, We forced Legacy to honor the original plan. On departure date, two of our group members were told that their reservation could not be found, so they had to pay $1800.00 for new tickets and cut their vacation from 7 to 5 days as the result. Legacy also charged one group member $700 for Room upgrade and they did not get an upgrade at all.



Leigh Ann has not returned any emails or responded to any of us regarding these problems.
