Food was decent. We sat in the bar since there was a large table open. Service was a little slow. Took a while for drinks and good.

Abuelo's Satisfies But Not Much More

Abuelo's food, drinks, and atmosphere are all adequate but I haven't found anything about any of them that is outstanding or unique. The food is good but there are better alternatives. If a group of friends is going, I'll happily go along but this is not the first or second choice of Tex-Mex if I'm choosing.

Hmmm

I wouldn't rate it a 1. It has changed though, but I'm sure it's circular. Economy down, cut back on quality and quantity. I can only state from experience that it isn't as good as it used to be. Rumor has it that the company sold and they are having financial issues. Again, I don't want to spread rumors, but it makes since.

Not anymore

I used to love this location. I don't know if it's the economy, but this place is going down. I was seated in an empty restaurant and could not get any service. I'm not very picky, but when you sit 12 minutes literally, it gets a bit frustrating. I couldn't even find a host or manager to complain. I'll give it a few months and I'll try again.
