I have used RM Bourgoin contractors on THREE houses now and they have never disappointed. Each time I have used them they have always been at least 1/3 more than other contractors. I know that this is counter intuitive to the get it done with the "best price" but I have been so tired of the "low cost" bidders in the past.



It had always seemed that every instance for which we hired someone else (replacement siding, new window, new kitchen cabinets, floor re-finishing, and roofing) we had not just minor but major problems. One contractor I later found out did not even carry the proper insurance for his workers.



I have learned after too many troubles that it is not worth it. I am still waiting on a painting contractor to finish some work. I did not ask the owner of RM Bourgoin to bid this work.



I also like that RM Bourgoin's owner gets into a job and makes suggestions as to how it can be improved. I am not that imaginative and he can suggest stuff (yes it may cost a little more) that makes the job come out much much better.



I love the fact that my neighbors come walking down the street and comment to me or my wife how really nice everything came out.



Finally, I learned that hard way that if a roof takes less than 2 days to recover, the job is lousy... RM Bourgoin takes more than a week to properly re-do a roof.
