I have a bat from Phoenix that has lasted several years. Amazing people to work with. I had no issue from start finish. I even made an effort to go and tour the factory.

I really wanted to like this company. American made wood bats with tag lines that make you believe they are a quality manufacturer. Their bats are beautiful and feel excellent. However, my experience with regard to actual intended use (i.e. to hit baseballs) was the complete opposite. Paid $78 (shipping included) for their K455 youth bat and it broke in the first BP session with my 8 year old son. Ball marks were up and down the strong side of the bat. Emailed pictures to their customer service seeking a replacement and was told initially by a non-expert representative that the bat had been misused and would not be replaced. A series of terrible follow-up exchanges ensued with Mr. Cramer (their Representative), most of which he made false assertions and insulted the skill level of my son (all without having ever seeing him swing a bat). He went so far as to say "The best thing may be for you to stick with metal bats." knowing my son is in a wood bat league. He also indicated that an expert in their outfit would review and they would get back with me. They still have not returned an assessment. I'm sure many players have had great success with their bats, but this will be one company I will never buy from again.



As an update, Phoenix Bats has finally responded in the manner they should have to begin with and offered to send a replacement.
