The person who wrote the last review has greatly misled you for whatever reason. I have been going to the Highland since I was a kid. It is a family owned Italian restaurant who makes incredible parms, pastas, and are known for their scallops. It is a local favorite. It is affordable, and hasn't changed in all the years -- and that is because they are about serving people. The owners are lovely, and matter of fact,when I have clients from out of town travelling -- I bring them there, because it is reminiscent of family memories and it helps build relationships. I have never had a bad meal there ever. Hand on heart, I am about the food, unlike the person below who is bitching about her kid loosing the shoe, not tipping, and still thinking that the staff that day should have melted to them. I think what was written below is unfair, untrue, and the absolute opposite that I have experienced on a regular basis for decades. Oh, and I have eaten in the Burj Al Arab Dubai ( and it is not small portions that are sterile snobby environments that overcharge)...this is a simple restaurant that offers up good Italian based food.
