The Crafton Volunteer Fire Department has been providing emergency medical response, rescue and firefighting services since 1890. It maintains various engines, pumpers, tankers, rescue vehicles and medical equipment. The department offers fire protection, suppression and prevention services. It operates a fitness and exercise center, as well as conducts heath physicals, immunization drives and fitness program for its members. The Crafton Volunteer Fire Department maintains a banquet hall that provides rental space for organizing various personal special events. It has active firefighters, line officers and life members. Additionally, the department handles more than 275 emergency calls annually. The Crafton Volunteer Fire Department is located in Pittsburgh.
