American Chimney and Fireplace did 3 fireplaces for us ( 2 vented & 1 vent -free gas logs ). What a great job they did. They were honest, professional and extremely polite. When the work was completed the workers cleaned everything up. We highly recommend this company.

We have used this company several times. The workers are professional, prompt, and friendly. They use drop cloths every where and the workplace is immaculate when they leave.We also like their gas logs. Remotes are so convenient. We have scheduled chimney work with them come Spring.

We recently had American Chimney & Fireplace come and give us an estimate for our fireplaces to be opened up. They did let us know there would be a charge for the visit however if we had the work done that charge would be deducted for the total amount due. We received the estimate within 4 days it outlined everything we could and could not do with the fireplaces. We choose the option of having a 2 gas inserts put in. When they came and did the work it was done exactly as outlined in the estimate. The workers were good, polite people and very respectful of our home. When we were given our final invoice the charge for the estimate had been deducted just like they said. I highly recommend this company. Mike who gave us the estimate was excellent and did everything he said he would do. We will be having them do the rest of the fireplaces this spring.

It's official I now have 3 beautiful fireplaces thanks to American Chimney & Fireplace. Mike and his workers are wonderful. Mike said he would get them done for me before the holiday - which he did. My Christmas party was extra special because of the working fireplaces burning. I wish I could attach a picture so that whoever is reviewing could see the great work this company does. STARS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD!

We wanted to convert our wood burning fireplace to a gas insert. We had several people come and give us estimates. Then Mike Kravas came and took the time to explain all of our options when he left he said he would sent us a written estimate. My husband and I had already decided we wanted Mike to do the job before we even got the estimate because of the time that he took to explain everything. We could tell from talking to him that he was honest and knew his stuff. We received the estimate the price was very fair. They came and did the work. The workers were so professional and polite. I will recommend to everyone.

Very honest assessment They came to work on our chimney. When Mike came for the estimate, he gave me two estimates and warranties, one for re-pointing the chimney and one for rebuilding it. He sat down and explained everything about the differences. He checked out our other chimney as well. He was being informative and was not trying to push us in any direction. We did not feel like he was trying to hard sell us. When he got up there he gave us a very honest assessment. The guys that came out to do the work were really great. They were exceedingly polite. I felt totally safe around them. They cleaned up very well, and left things better than when they came. You didnt even know they were there. Highly recommend.

They removed several courses of brick from the top of the chimney, spot pointed the rest, and installed a liner. They carted away the old bricks. They cleaned up after themselves. The chimney was not in as bad shape as originally expected. There was less pointing to do than Mike had thought, so the work was done in less time than expected. Later that afternoon, Mike stopped by to inspect the work his crew had done, and make sure I was satisfied. The crew was great, very polite, neat and professional. I give 5 stars they are the best!

They installed a new gas insert in our second floor bedroom fireplace. Mike came out to give us an estimate and offered some great suggestions and advice about our existing fireplace as well as the 1 we were hoping to install. It was a tricky installation in some ways - they had to run a new vent up a nearly demolished chimney and had to run a gas line through another cramped space. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism and work. They completed the entire installation in 1 day and got the fireplace in right before Christmas. We couldn't be happier with the work they provided and will definitely use them for all of our fireplace work in the future.

They do excellent work. The crew is very professional and polite. I would highly recommend.
