We've been using Performance Auto since moving to Pittsboro in 2000, and have never had a negative experience. We've recommended them to friends and family and all were quite satisfied.

I have been taking my vehicles to Performance Automotive in Pittsboro for the past seven years, and this is the *best* shop I have ever used. I have owned dozens of cars, and have previously dealt with innumerable automotive-related businesses, and I have never experienced the level of quality service that I receive at Performance. These guys are totally upfront and honest, and great to work with. Anyone claiming otherwise most likely works at a nearby dealership.

We have been using Performance Automotive in Pittsboro for about 5 years. The service has always been prompt, very courteous and competitively priced. I have never had to make a return trip for problems with service to either of my vehicles. We're lucky to have such a reliable facility here.

Our family has been using Performance Auto for seven years and have always had exceptional service. We have three children and five different makes of cars, domestic and foreign. On one occasion, my daughters car broke down in Raleigh, my husband was out of the country, and I called them. They helped me contact a local tow service and get the car back to Pittsboro. They have always delivered as promised when it comes to maintaining our cars.

I am shocked at the last person's review. This is the best shop that I have ever been to. The guys there are always friendly, honest, and do their best to save you money. I have had nothing but great experiences with Performance. I currently live in Durham and drive 55 mins to go to this shop. When you find a good shop, you got to stick with it. I wish more of the regular customers would write reviews because the regulars know what a gem this shop is. They are very professional and I feel that I can trust them 100%. Also, my brother uses a modified van because he is paralyzed. Performance always gets his vehicle fixed on the spot since this is his only means of transportation. I love this shop and recommend it to everyone!

I dropped off a hub with a bad bearing and asked them to press out the bearing and press in the new one. I got a call and was told they could not get the bearing out of the hub. I picked up the hub and bearing and it looked like they tried to cut it off with a chisel instead of using a press. They ruined the hub and I had to buy a new one. $213.00. I was not at all satisfied with the results. From what I understand this should have been a simple procedure. I took the hub and bearing to a couple other shops including 2 Toyota dealerships and they all said the hub was ruined. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.
