Welcome to the PISCATAWAY Kumon Center! Kumon Math and Reading Centers develop the untapped potential of each and every child through building confidence and developing skills in the fundamental building blocks of math and reading. At Kumon, we believe that every child has the potential to learn far beyond our expectations. Our class hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 2-7. Please note that from 2-4, students are asked to come by appointment only, as staffing is limited in those hours. Joya Joseph, Instructor, has been involved with Kumon in various capacities. She has worked as an assistant in the Piscataway, South Brunswick and North Brunswick Centers, but more recently, she spent a year working for Kumon North America (Kumon's corporate offices) as a member of the New Jersey Branch. Joya worked with various Instructors across the state of New Jersey supporting them in their roles and providing them with valuable information from the corporate offices. During this time, she was fully trained as an Instructor in the Kumon Method. Prior to working with Kumon, Joya graduated from Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, with a degree in East Asian Studies. She studied history and culture of East Asian nations, primarily Japanese language and culture.
