The Pinecrest Developmental Center provides support and service to individuals with developmental disabilities, including mental retardation, autism and other conditions related to mental retardation through the provision of residential living options and other mental retardation/developmental disabilities. The goal of the Pinecrest Developmental Center is to provide a person-centered approach to services for individuals with developmental disabilities that empowers these individuals to more fully experience quality of life and achieve their maximum potential. It has three programs that include administration and support, patient care and community support. The Pinecrest Developmental Center in Pineville, La., also provides 24-hour residential living services for those with disabilities.
