Known for its southern hospitality, the Country Club of North Carolina is a country club and residential community located in Pinehurst, N.C. In addition to standard offerings, the club also regularly hosts special events, such as portions of international golf tournaments. The dream that a visitor named John Watson started in 1910 expanded and culminated into one of the most prestigious clubs in the South, with two championship golf courses, a tennis club with 8 har-tru courts, a swimming pool, several dining facilities, a youth program, a summer program, rental home program and nature trails. The initial cabin has grown into more than 365 homes without spoiling the privacy and peacefulness of the club.
