jim has worked on all three of my Bugs . He built a hi-performance engine and tuned it .(It doesn't purrr, It ROARS !!!! Next ,my 1971 SuperBeetle Convertible .Once again , a master of his craft , installed new frloor pans and got the top operational as well as building a stock 1600 dual port motor .Lastly , my 1974 SuperBeetle Coupe suffered from the "Death Shake " , Jim knew the problem and advised me to needing a steering shock . Not only that , but Jim took the time to examine the rest of the suspension ,AT NO EXTRA CHARGE !! He suggested that the ball joints and tierods were on borrowed time but not needing to be replaced at this time . Jim did say this would be a convinient time to take care of it all .( I come from Discovery Bay ) So it made sense to have Jim do the work . This Bug has never felt better on the road . It took a couple of weeks but that is due to getting quality parts . JIm advised me He can get economy parts or he would get top shelf but it would take time to order and ship . Thanks Jim
