These guys were terrific! Their price was competitive, they showed up on time, but the real deal was how well and hard the team worked together. They worked non stop to get the job done and clearly knew what they were doing.

called spoke to tony and felt like this was a person that knew what they was doing. I was right! They was fast no damages and seemed to enjoy there work. I cant see how though? They worked really hard to see that all was done just right. I would hire these movers again

I moved from pikeville to Clearwater,FL. The move was one of the best that our family has ever had. I would like to personally thank capitol city movers for there professionalism and out right courtesy. We were all treated with respect and our belongings were well taking care of. One of the most honest hard working service providers in the moving industry. The move was perfectly planned and executed through Capitol city. I must tell you about the heart these guys have. 5-6 months ago my wife was finishing up her rental payment collections. Some how she lost our bank envelope with over $6000.00 in 100 denominations(cash) We had gave up on ever seeing the money again. That was very hard for our family to overcome. Anyway i was going over some last minute details with our relocation going in full swing, these guys were spot on. Never scratched a wall nor furniture alike. The highlight of all highlights overcame us. Larry the mover came in from carrying out our marble top dresser looked at me and said close your eyes and open your hand, reluctantly I did only to find a bank envelope in my hand with every red cent accounted for. they had picked up our dresser and there it was and how it fell that far under I will never know. Stunned ,thinking i had to ask larry why or if the thought crossed his mind to keep it after all my wife and I never expected to ever see that money again. He stopped walked closer and simply said "Never had any use for a thief and said I would want someone to do that for me!" As far as I am concerned if honesty, integrity, and solid work ethic is what you want then capitol city movers is what you need. needless to say we oversized the tip. They even un-packed for us at the last minute.....superb job well done

"The time that we scheduled with this company all seemed to go well. the company was on time and the movers were very fast and courteous.Took a little less time than my wife and I thought. Which ended up being great. We originally thought this would take two days since the time went by so fast we went ahead and moved the storage too. We are very happy with the way this move took place and would recommend them to any one that needs a dependable moving company.They was magnificent and very polite

Second half equally as good as the first. because the movers had done such a perfect move for our family, then comes our 90 year old fathers house that has been occupied since my childhood.(Meaning furniture on top of furniture) Tony,John and Larry showed up as agreed took one look and acted as though it would be nothing...Right.. 12 hours later they had moved a three bedroom home all the appliances and a six-foot 2800lb gun safe. I don't understand how there backs still work. Thanks guys for the spectacular move and most off all your due diligence in the matter. Without a hitch and received a repeat customer discount. awesome.

Great job with handling all of our furniture. Our family is very great-full for all of the hard work that your movers provided. I expected a little less time although for the price we hit a home run. Our families play-ground equipment was took apart and delivered perfectly. The movers were polite and very careful with every piece of furniture as well as with our families really old vintage keepsakes. I would highly recommend them to any one looking for a very affordable, fast and professional moving company- Thank-You for the extra effort.

I have used these movers in the past and so has others in our family, including the families business office's The move was completed with out a hitch. Perfectly organized and professional is the best way to explain. The movers called the morning of the move and arrived 10 minutes early. they laid out carpet protectors and went straight to work. The price for the move in comparison to others was cheaper than expected. They were very polite, well dressed and seemed to be very attentive to our families moving needs. They moved our three bedroom home like a well thought out process. Thank you for a well done job and I highly recommend them.

I wanted to write this to credit the four movers that came out to our home. All of our stuff was wrapped and delivered as nice as possible . They were very polite and took the time to wrap and place all of our high end electronics,disconnected our ice maker as well as all of our appliances. The baby grand piano that has been in our family for two generations was disassembled and shipped without any damage even though they had to move it up two flights of stairs. The total cost for the move impressed me compared to previous moves. They deserve all the prompts for a move well done.

I was concerned at first..boy was I wrong awesome job capitol city movers. i called to reserve this move and was greeted from the start with a person that took the time to lay out our families move. She had the knowledge and professional courtesy to explain to me what to expect. The movers showed up on time and explained to me everything up front as to what the rate was and all that needed to be done. The movers took the time needed to take apart all our furnishings put them back together better than when delivered. Larry,Randy and Josh helped my wife load her car when they saw her struggling to do so. if it was not for them we would have been lost thanks guys awesome work..we highly recommend them.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! Unless you want your stuff missing. At first they was great and got back to me for the move right off the bat. They was nice and on time. However after I moved and got everything unpacked then I noticed I had a game system missing along with games. I also saw that my items had broke. I tried to contact them to get the facts of where my game system was, they said they would find out and call me the next day. ITS BEEN 3 weeks!!!! And over a month since I moved and still no word from them! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

Great job guys, this move turned out to be the best moving experience as have had in the last five moves. Larry and Robert went above what was expected, our families move was under budget and exceptionally professional I would recommend Capitol city to handle any furniture to be moved. Thanks for the awesome job.

This was my second move with this company and I feel compelled to write about it. The move ended as a total success. As promised everything was delivered with out a scratch. Larry and Robert took the time to put together all our furniture so we could sleep. Our 100 year old grandfather clock was took apart and assembled like they built the thing. This company really does go out of there way to provide great service. And when we go to Louisville we will use them again. Thank you for getting it done fast on time and saving me a few bucks.

Hats off to Larry, "Uncle" Billy, William and John for enduring the move with us from Paintsville KY to Hawesville, KY. Even though there were many obstacles that seemed to get in our way, you guys hung in there to make sure our move took place.
