Lakeview Junior High serves more than 800 students in grades seven and eight. Located in Pickerington, Ohio, the school s academic curriculum includes social studies, mathematics, science, English and physical education. It has a foreign language department that offers classes in French, German and Spanish. The school has a media center that offers a collection of magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, CD-ROMs, videos, cassettes and reference books. Lakeview Junior High has a parent-teacher organization that organizes various programs, activities and fundraising events. The school provides a lunch program for students that includes breads, fruits, vegetables and milk. It also sponsors the Ohio Wesleyan Junior League camp and the Midwest Academic Talent Search program.
