Founded in 1981, Bar-S Foods Company is one of the largest privately-held companies in the state of Arizona and also one of the largest meat-processing companies in the United States. The company has a staff of more than 1,600 people. It markets over 100 processed meat products, such as smoken sausage, franks, corn dogs and hams under the Bar-S brand. Bar-S Foods Company operates three production plants and a central distribution and service center in Oklahoma. The company is a recipient of several awards for its excellence in making hotdogs.
