Two problems - #1 Different departments don't communicate with each other and their systems don't work together. I got a payoff amount for that day from a rep at their toll-free number. Said I could take cashier's check to branch to pay. Branch said amount was wrong and they couldn't process the payoff. Got runaround for an hour. I would not let them dismiss me, but they tried to tell me they couldn't take it. I sat there until they did something. #2 The rep who tried to figure this out at the branch did not apologize for the problem. I sat in front of her for 45 minutes while she was on the phone with Payoff Dept. She only looked at me once and did not tell me what was going on. Tried to ignore me. No personality; no apology. Horrible service. Not sure it got done correctly. If you're looking for good service and efficient processes, do NOT go to Bank of America and definitely not to this branch.
