Consumers Power is a privately owned, nonprofit rural electric cooperative that serves more than 16,000 customers in Benton, Lincoln, Lane, Linn, Polk and Marion counties in Oregon. The cooperative offers a range of energy efficiency and rebate programs for appliances, thermostats, solar and electric water heaters and heat pumps. Consumers Power features classes on high-voltage safety, as well as power outage services. It provides generators and surge protectors, as well as tree trimming services. The cooperative also offers green power generated from wind farms. It works in partnerships with PEAK Internet, CoEnergy and PNGC Power. Consumers Power is headquartered in Philomath, Ore.
