As a cardiologist, I believe strongly that each and every patient needs sufficient time to be educated in their diagnoses, management, medications and health maintenance. I pride myself in making sure this occurs on a consistent basis. I earned my medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine, and completed a residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. I am board certified in internal medicine and cardiology, and was designated as teacher of the year by the St. Luke’s Warren Campus family practice residents. I very much enjoy teaching residents and medical students. I am a fellow of American College of Cardiology and a member of theAmerican Heart Association, and the American Medical Association. Outside of work, my wife and I spend as much time as possible with our two daughters, their husbands and our four grandchildren, who range in age from 3-1/2 months to nearly 7 years old. I make time to exercise with a sports trainer at my home an average of 3 days a week, do several downhill sking trips every winter, preferably with immediate family or friends, and enjoy domestic and international travel. I am also an avid sports fan and have had season tickets for the Philadelphia Eagles and the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. My wife and I enjoy eating out, trying new restaurants and going to the theater for live performances or concerts. We also enjoy attending movies on a regular basis. We try to share these interests with friends and family whenever possible.
